2012: New Line-Up and We’re Hitting the Road!
Hi folks, A new year is here and it’s ten degrees and getting colder here in Chicago! In Prowlers news, we have two fantastic new members to tell about: Dan Andree is a tremendous fiddler matched only by his own vocal prowess. Starr Moss is an amazingly inventive flatpick guitar player who has been collaborating with Grant for the last ten years. There’s a breath of fresh energy in the band, and we’re working hard at working up new material for the five-piece setup.
After the Chicago Bluegrass and Blues Festival, we will be heading West for 22 days on the road. The Colorado and West Coast bluegrass scenes are something special, and we can’t wait to see old friends and meet some new folks. You can stay up to date on the Tour page, or on Facebook, and we can’t wait to play with the likes of Head for the Hills, Whitewater Ramble, the Big Wu, and many others as we wind our way through Washington, Oregon, down through San Francisco and back again.
In March, we’ll be home for a few weeks, then we’re returning to Belgium, the Netherlands, and Germany for nineteen days and our second European tour. These are exciting times for the band!
If you can’t catch the band in Chicago or somewhere out West, stay tuned for more information on the official audiovisual introduction of the new line up. We will be shooting video and recording a handful of our newest tunes to showcase Starr and Dan and the emerging quintet sound!
Hope to see you soon!
